Cartomantic prompts: Everyday is a good day (past cycle)

$15.00

For a number of years now I’ve run cycles of 7-11-22 cartomantic prompts posted consecutively each day in a cycle on a wordpress platform. People would sign up in droves, and for a number of days be ready to be inspired by fascinating questions.

Read about the premise for Everyday is a good day below.

The general premise for the prompt cycles is the following: Much of what you do with cards is reflect on the questions that you bring to the table. But think of it this way: There are questions, and then there are the better questions: questions that you are conscious of, and questions that you are not conscious of.

Often the questions you are not so conscious of creep into what you see in the cards: You formulate a question to the cards, and then there’s the question that stares you in the face; the question that the cards formulate on your behalf; the question that you dodge. The cards have a nasty, but I would also say, tender and loving way of making things plain for you.

The cartomantic prompts are mini-lessons in the art of asking questions as you see them arise from the cards themselves. How do you deal with the questions that the cards formulate for you?

Here you can order a past cycle at a reduced price. You can choose between the following topics: ‘Beauty,’ 'Focus,' 'Do your Best,' 'Everyday is a good day’, ‘Cards and Coffee,’ ‘The House,' 'Coping', and 'Voice'. Each cycle uses an array of interesting cards and magic rituals, from historical tarots to art tarots, from tasseomancy to protection spells.

Everyday is a good day

Forget about the world, and surprise yourself over the questions that will have you answer: 'whatever the problem is, everyday is a good day'.

What's yours?

We live in a world of opinions, ours and others. All fine, until the point when we forget that all opinions are a matter of projecting impressions. Also all fine, if what we want is entertain the inner life of our fantasy that thrives on comparison: this is good, this is bad, this is right and this is wrong.

At the reality level, the level that has to do with acknowledging that life happens exactly as it happens, independently of what we make of it, things are different. Here, it's is not opinion that rules, or the excitement about experience that begets more experience.

Less living in the head

This new cycle of tarot prompts suggests the following: less living in our heads, and more appreciating what is.

When it comes down to it, the sages of old were right when they asserted that 'everyday is a good day.'

More flow

The 11 prompts here have this in focus: flow and the matters of the heart, not opinion.

What will be interesting to observe is what kind of questions the cards will invite us to ponder when we think of how we define the matters of the heart, and what the heart knows, when the heart is also callous, manic, depressed, or in any of the other moods related to creativity or the lack thereof.

A heart is not just hot, it's also cold. Meanwhile, life happens as it happens.

Relax

I invite you to 11 days of inspiration on what questions to pose that will remind us of how we can appreciate the maxim: Everyday is a good day.

Have a break from drama and politics, the envy and jealousy of others, gossip and rumours, flattery and false intent, worry, ill health, and unfortunate love.

Again, forget about the world, and surprise yourself over the questions that will have you answer: 'whatever the problem is, everyday is a good day'.
